How to choose a 150x190 mattress for two
A 150 mattress is shared, so it has to work well for both of you. These are the points to consider.
First, weight
All models, except the Colchón XL, are guaranteed for up to 95 kg per person. If one of you weighs more than 95 kg, the Colchón XL is the right choice, with firm firmness and a reinforced structure that prevents sagging and deformation with use.
Next, firmness
For sleeping on your back or stomach, a firm firmness works best, such as that of the Original Hybrid or the VisCool. If you sleep on your side, a medium or medium-firm firmness is better, such as that of the Nature or the Altus.
Coolness if one of you gets hot
The VisCool is the coolest in the range: its PCM fabric absorbs excess body heat and releases it when the temperature drops. The Altus follows closely thanks to its linen outer fabric, which absorbs moisture and naturally regulates temperature.
Less movement on the other side
In the pocket spring models, each spring works independently. That’s why one person’s movements barely reach the other, and the mattress adapts to each body without sagging in the middle. In the Original Hybrid, the memory foam layer also relieves pressure on the shoulders and hips.
150x190 or 150x200 mattress: which one do you need
The 150x200 has the same width and is 10 cm longer. It is the option for couples in which at least one person is tall.
Before buying, check the size of your bed base: a 200 cm mattress will not fit on a 190 base. If you are also changing the base, we have 150x190 storage beds with assembly included.
